Roxane Maldonado is an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer for ACRL, building capacity as well as recruiting and training mentors for the Second Chances Program. She is responsible for everything from coordinating our recruiting efforts to locating new grants. Roxane is currently a student at Delaware Technical & Community College majoring in chemistry and minoring in mathematics. After completion, Roxane will continue on to complete her bachelor's at University of Delaware. Although her previous work experience was in retail and customer service, Roxane considers her role with ACRL limitless, as she dedicated to the cause of re-entry. Joan W. Priest has over twenty-five years of experience in fund development with a concentration in major gifts, grants, and capital campaigns. She retired as Associate Director of Development and Capital Campaign Coordinator for the Delaware Nature Society (DNS) after successfully managing a $7.8 million capital campaign and growing the endowment to more than $12 million. Joan currently serves as Director of Development for the Joseph Priestley District of the Unitarian Universalist Association and consults with regional non-profit organizations through Farr Associates, LLC. Ms. Priest is a past president of the Brandywine Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals ( Grant Consultant – Janet Tillman Janet Tilman has a Masters of Social Work from The Ohio State University and 36 years of social work experience in direct services, program development, administration, and outcomes management. Her experience spans the fields of mental health, substance abuse, health care, and quality improvement. In 2007 Janet started Tillman Consulting Services, LLC to focus on building nonprofits’ organizational capacity to align their services with community needs, deliver quality services, and demonstrate program effectiveness to stakeholders. Janet has since added Appreciative Inquiry facilitation for organization change and Leadership Development to her services for nonprofits. Our Volunteers

Our Support
We rely on donations and grants in order to carry out the services that we provide and continue our programs. We also depend on volunteers to assist in mentoring, counseling and providing support to our mentees.

The work of A Center for Relational Living is accomplished through mentoring, facilitation, dialogue, counseling & case management, teaching, support groups, and fun.
